Warranties and Service for Your Optics

Accidents happen, and when they do, Arizona Field Optics will be here to help you. Both of our partners, Swarovski Optik and Vortex Optics, offer comprehensive warranties covering their products and will go to great lengths to make sure you’re happy.

There are some differences between the warranties and warranty processes of the two companies. The following information will guide you through the warranty process of both Vortex and Swarovski. We are only a phone call away if you run into a snag or have a question, so don't hesitate to contact us.

Vortex Optics

Vortex Optics offers the most comprehensive warranty in the industry with their now famous “Vortex V.I.P. Warranty”. In short, Vortex Optics will repair or replace any Vortex Optics Product, no matter the cause. If you ran it over with an ATV (we’ve seen it), no problem! If they fell off the tail gate of a truck and were run over by the next truck (we’ve seen that, too), you’re covered! There is no warranty card to send in and no receipt to save. If it’s a product that they made, they will fix it.

To begin the warranty process, simply fill out the form at this link: Product Service Request Form.

Vortex’s turnaround times are typically a couple weeks but can vary during the fall and winter months due to the influx in repair claims. If you have any questions on how to fill out the form, Vortex Optics staff are always eager to help you and can be reached at 1-800-426-0048. As always, we are also available to help if needed.

Swarovski Optik

Swarovski Optik offers a fully transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty against factory defects. If the problem or damage is caused by the owner, there may be some costs involved, although this is not always the case. We have helped customers with the Swarovski Warranty process for years and have always found it to be fair and affordable. Also, they don’t upcharge their service, which means that if it cost them $50 to fix your Binos then they will only charge you $50. No matter the cost, they will always get approval from you before proceeding with the work and once the claim has been processed, they will ship the item back to you, free of charge.

To begin the claim process, call 1-800-426-3089. Have the serial number or your optic handy when you call then. When prompted, press “2” for the repair department where you’ll be greeted by a very helpful Swarovski employee based in Cranston, Rhode Island. They will ask a series of questions and give you instructions on how to prepare your item for shipment. Please remove all accessories (straps, cases, etc.) before shipment, as they are not generally needed during the repair process. Swarovski’s turnaround times are typically a couple of weeks but can vary during the fall and winter months due to the influx in repair claims.

Packaging your optics for shipment

No matter where you are sending your optics, we urge you package them with care as to not cause further damage during transit. Whether you decide to ship via Fed-Ex, UPS, or the US Postal Service, insurance is available and we encourage you to purchase it to cover the value of your optic. While both companies will help with damage, they do not cover any loss that may happen during the shipment process. These instances are rare, but it can happen. Use a sturdy box of appropriate size and fill in any voids around your optic with packing peanuts, bubble wrap or wadded up paper. Include any paper work or tracking numbers that are requested by the optics manufacturer and then seal the box up tight. Always give the box a gentle shake to make sure that your optic is not moving freely within the box. Be sure to retain any receipts or paperwork you receive from the shipping company to track your item during its journey.
